Egypt is a country in Northern Africa, extending south from the Mediterranean Sea. It is one of the oldest civilizations in the world, having developed along the Nile River. Egypt is rich with tradition and culture, much of which captures my attention. In school, I have always been interested in learning about Ancient Egypt; however I hope to learn more of the modern Egypt that exists today.
